I guess it`s time to make a project thread here as well, as the bits have started to come in. Yesterday I picked up a pair of Red Dot 20 groove discs and four 195/50-15 Marangoni Zeta Lineas, this morning I collected the Eibach Pro spring kit and Red Dot fast road pads are waiting at home in my mailbox. I also ordered a full Bilstein Sport setup, should be with me the next week or so. I`ve got Powerflex bushes on its way, but the Eibach anti roll bar kit will have to wait a little while... Now all I need are the caliper mounts for the Tipo 2.0 calipers, and my beloved Punto is back on the road, ready for every twist and bend I can feed it And if everything goes as planned, we`ll pay Peter a visit to try to get some more "umph" out of the 1242. A whole lot of umph if everything goes as planned ;D

I wish! Although Norway isn`t bad this time of year either... The most practical solution would probably be to buy an entire, finished engine from Peter. That way I can leave the car with him and spend a few days in GB pretending to be on holiday. My girlfriend are very keen on goin, as long as we do mostly holiday-stuff But the engine plans have to wait until I have the money for it. I`ve had some trouble getting hold of the Tipo caliper mounts, being a bit undecided wether to buy from the local Fiat-dealer (pricey!)or the nearest one in Denmark (longer waiting time for parts to arrive), but they should be here within a week or so. The Bilstein shocks will probably arrive before friday, so its getting closer. The Powerflex bushes has arrived, but I haven`t had time to pick them up. They`ll probably have to wait until I get hold of new susp. arms. By then I hope to afford the Eibach anti roll bar kit as well In the meantime I`m getting cuddly with the Integrale. It`s getting a few pieces as well to keep it happy. Thought of making a project thread for it, but after all this is a FIRE forum I`m getting a quote from POTN on a set of O.Z. Superturismo 17" wheels, but if anyone know of somewhere else to get them, I`d be very happy to know. Cheers

Sloooowly making progress. If I keep going at this speed, the Punto will probably be gone before I`ll get around to installing everything. Current mileage: 191 071 miles (307 500 kms) - Red•Dot 20 groove discs - Red•Dot fast road pads - calipers and mounts from a Tipo 2.0 8V (thanks for the tip Lowtechguy!) I have still to paint the calipers and mounts (black) and fit the Goodridge hoses. But what a difference... I never thought braking could be this fun ;D In case you noticed; no, the pads aren´t properly installed, this is just from the test fitting.

Just got a mail from Sweden saying the SS manifold has gone out of production But the Ragazzon center pipe and rear silencer has been fitted, giving a very nice crisp sound. It still remains to see what the MOT-people will think about it though oldschool: thanks! The Integrale stutters, coughs and almost won`t move, but I haven`t had the time nor a place to do anything about it. Me and the missus just took over her parents old house though, so I´ve finally got a decent garage. Hopefully it´ll be up and running again pretty soon.

Actually I´ve got a three car garage and indoor storage space for three more, depending on size (I guess that equals about 14-15 cinqs ;D). So no more excuses for not getting things done I´m afraid ;D BTW: I´m also interested in an induction kit for the 1242, but my since it´s a LHD the brake vacuum booster (?) is located behind the battery just about where the filter body appears to go. I do however have plenty of room on the other side. Do you think it would be possible to turn the whole kit 180 degrees and rotate the hose a bit to make it fit? I vaguely recall that the two mounting bolts aren´t centered, guess I´ll have to check tomorrow...

It would go parallel to the engine. But obviously needs checking whether you have the space for the filter there.

I even managed to give the 'grale a good clean. Meguiars' products really are addictive... Even got a visit from a potential buyer. He's an EVO-owner, interested in my 16V! What has the world come to?

At least you don't have to deal with norwegian car taxes. My 16V cost me £13.500 On the bright side: if I get it sold, I'll have the money for both a set of 15" Ultraleggeras and a "1242 by Peter"
