What did you think to Stanford this year? If it is going to be like this in the future I won't bother going. We might as well have had a picnick in my back garden, which would have been more of an adventure than AI stuff. Only highlight was FF's effort. And I am sick of Ferraris. |

Hi Peter,
I was just wanting opinions on this one to see if i was the only one that thought that A.I - Stanford was quite a let down. For the money that they charged this year i guess i was expecting something - there weren't even that many stools.

What annoyed me the most is that we Italian car drivers do not only subsidise Ferrari in F1 with our money but also at the AI meets. Why do we have to pay £10 for a lausy meet that only tries to glorify an overpriced skip usually painted in red.

HA, I agree
Although I love the idea of Autoitalia shows this one was a REAL let down. It was overpriced, I even contemplated putting Zoe in the boot (not permenantly) - to make it a fairer price!
There were fewer cars, less effort and less enthusiasm on the whole, espeically by AI themselves. Bringing 3 new Fiat models on a lousy stand seemed to constitute their efforts.
I will be going to Gaydon - if its lousy I will be arranging some events with some of you lot because I think a chimpanzee could do a lot better!

I was going to write to the main organiser of these events as i thought that it was a real let down and talk about bumping up the prices!!!
There website is something else that annoys me as all they seem to have lots of pics of the Ferrari's yet not the Fiats - We go to the shows and spend quite a bit!! We always have a good turn out at these shows, so at least give us something back!!!
A link would be brilliant, but the comment that i have just added is only part of how i feel - i could go on but i wouldnt want people to think all i do is moan!!! LOL!!
