Well, I looked at one...
The handbrake works, started first time, tracking is out alittle but no big deal, on 50k.
Couldnt hear bearings, no knocking noises either.
Is there anything else I should look out for?

Awesome, sounds positive, look forward to hearing specs and seeing some pics! What spec is it? I hope its an mpi because of the improved tunability factor I would say handbrake, clutch cable (unless you are possessed you can't tell they will snap!), Bearings do go but not the end of the world, more importantly check the suspension bushes are not knocking or rattling (espec rear) as they can go and are not the cheapest thing to replace. Exhaust can be a weak point on the standard systems, they tend to corrode very quickly (no doubt you may sort that!). Being Fire engine should be a robust engine, most important (as with all) is to make sure its got plenty of well concentrated coolant to stop the headgasket blowing. Basically as with most italians look after it and it should last well. My mpi didn't miss a bit in 1108 guise and now its as good in 16v guise so I think if you keep on top of it reliability is good! And because they are so light you don't have to go quite so extreme with the weight loss program on it! OR go insane and have a feather weight car! Let us know how it goes.

yep thats it, it passed though which is the main thing.
Its a yellow one and a proper abarth (with bodykit and abarth seats etc).
Just started to notice the little things, the passenger door lock needs to be replaced, the rev counter is not screwed down, but all minor.
Bought the car on a 1999 T reg for £550. So not bad really.
I have the cento bug again, I cannot stop smiling...!

Bushes and bearings all fine, handbrake is fixed but I will avoid using so it stays that way lol, I want to keep it standard for abit until I have at least a second (working) car, but I can see its faults in torque delivery extra already, handles very very well even with the tracking out! Its getting quite hot though but I blame the brown water, so it defo will get a flush and a full service shortly, exhaust is not pretty but dont want to go mad just yet as its all working and thats what matters to me at the moment. Shall wait and see...

Great, sounds like you got a good buy!
If you ever want to lose the Abarth wheels you have a buyer already! (but i doubt it!).
Glad it passed, if its all working thats the main thing! No point changing things if its happy as it is!
How did you check the engine temp baring in mind the Sei is spartan in temp gauges aka. none! Was that your OBD reader wizadry?!
Nice solid car, look forward to seeing it sometime soon!

Abarth side skirts, spoiler, and wheels - if you ever get bored of them - you have a buyer
