Aux Gauges in a Sei!

Getting a bit ahead of myself here, but after the car comes back from the bodyshop and has been mapped properly, one of the next steps is to fit up some proper gauges.

I really miss not having a water temp gauge etc.

I'm really after having a couple of gauges fitted, so what two would you go for?

And most importantly how difficult are they to fit for someone with next to no electrical experience? Do you get everything you need to fit normally etc.

I've decided on water temp and volt gauge.

What is involved to fit such, also I have another accessory (12v) which needs a power source, where is the best place to hook it up to the 12v supply, it just has one wire for 12v supply and one for earth.

I've sorted it, despite no action on this thread!!!!!!!!

Both gauges working a treat, hopefully getting them mounted to a pod this weekend!

I was very proud of them although they are not rocket science to fit, never really done any major electronics work before, apart from fit rear speakers.

When they are all mounted properly will post pictures up, hopefully early next week.

Why did you decide to go for voltage rather than oil temp?

Well its handy to know when your alternators dying!!!

Don't know really, they were very cheap and thats how the package came on ebay! They were a bargain
