Hi, I would like to know if the 1.4 cc turbo from uno (105 or 115) cv is a fire engine. Actually, I would like to swap a 4x4 panda 1990 and to put this engine. But i want to be sure that it bolts on the gearbox of panda 4x4. Thanks a lot NLK

Hi,
ok it seems that its not possible to fit the 1400 cc turbo from uno in the panda 4x4 because the engine doesn't fit the gearbox.(it's not a fire engine). So i have done research and found out the 1.4 turbo of the punto gt (130bhp) wich block is different. Does somebody know if in this case the engine bolts on the geabox directly and if the mounts are similar?
thanks

The 1372cc turbo and the 1301cc turbo are bothe not FIRE engines. Both won't fir to the Panda 4x4 FIRE gearbox.
The Turbo engine torque would be far too much to take for the gearbox and the second diff.
What sort of power are you after?

Hello old school, I'm looking for the most powerful engine that can bolt on the panda 4x4 fire gearbox... beacause I absolutely want to conserve it. This is the aim. Moreover, i 'm not whithout knowing that i 've to be kind with the gearbox... But it seems that all gearboxes are made to support 2 to 3.5 more torque that their factory engine give. So if I resume, the only alternative for me is 1242 cc fire 16v 86bhp, or 1368 cc fire 100bhp from niew fiat and this is all? (in the fiat engines) Dunno what you think!

The Pandfa 4x4 gearbox is not strong enough for the turbo torque. But getting a fast Panda doesn't mean a turbo is a necessity. If you have the money for a Bachi or Coletti gearbox than you can have a lote more torque.
