Hey all. Looks like there is some useful advice available on here!! Particularily interested in the post by old school on prep for 1242 conversion. Am i right in saying that you can remove the flange from an 1108 manifold and use that as a spacer to fit the 1108 manifold to the 1242 engine? Ross

Ross With an angle grinder on a second exhaust yes, but what I did was use the gasket as a template and made one out of 6mm steel plate, I was still able to use the original bolts. Another option is to find a punto manifold or upgrade to supersprint while your at it.
