I am rather confused, surely there must be a fuel filter on the mk 2 Seicento's and Punto mk 2 1242 8v's.
I can't find mine and Fiat said the mpi doesn't have one, only the spi which is located next to the centre exhaust silencer, is this facts, surely there must be one.
If so mine needs a change, does anyone know the location?
Many Thanks
B.A

It has a filter but it cleans fuel without use of replaceable, changeable, or cleanable filter element by continually pre-filtering and polishing fuel. It deals with raw contaminants that lead to degradation, oxidation, and repolymerization of fuel. It removes 99% of water and 95% of dust, dirt, and other contaminates found in fuel.

Thanks LTG, thats one thing I don't have to worry about.
I guess its worth running some fuel system cleaner through at some point though.
